Workshop & Speaker — Initial Call

Service Description

This is the first conversation before any workshop, training, or speaking engagement, and it is free. It is an intake call to determine whether Autism Map Maker is the right fit for your program or event. On the call we cover who the audience is, how many people are expected, whether the event is in person or virtual, the date or window you have in mind, and the specific topics you want addressed. Sessions are delivered in SimCom, or in ASL for fully signing environments. Engagements are not booked without this call. If we are a good fit, the date and time are blocked at the end of the call and we move into scheduling and terms from there. Formats include half-day and full-day workshops, professional development days, conference sessions, and 2–3 hour speaker requests. The fee is set on this call according to format and length, on a sliding scale. Travel is available with travel arrangements covered; travel within 50 miles of Sulphur, Oklahoma is free.
