Welcome to the future Autism Mapmaker School—a language-first learning environment designed for Deaf+ and Autistic students to flourish.
ASL Immersion: Language access is the foundation of all learning. To ensure this, our curriculum is taught entirely in American Sign Language, providing students with 100% direct instruction.
Practical Behavior Support: We operate on the principle that all behavior is communication. Our staff is trained to respond with co-regulation and skill-building techniques, not punishment, helping students manage stress and develop effective self-advocacy tools in real-world situations.
How Your Contribution Is Used
To provide effective, individualized instruction, we must maintain a very low student-to-staff ratio. This is the most critical component of our model and our largest operational expense. While tuition covers a portion of the cost, community support is essential to bridge the financial gap and keep our services accessible. Below is a breakdown of our key funding priorities.

Our commitment extends beyond our student body. We serve the wider community by providing two free, public services: monthly autism workshops for families and caregivers, and structured social groups.
